Binyam Nardos received a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in computer science from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, in 2004. He joined the CRRG in 2005 as a research technician and is responsible for conducting imaging experiments and performing statistical analyses of imaging data. In addition, Binyam develops and maintains the CRRG Website.
Binyam is working with Drs. DesirŽe White and Robert McKinstry on a longitudinal study to test the hypothesis that children with the congenital metabolic disorder phenylketonuria (PKU) exhibit impairments in aspects of executive ability that facilitate learning and memory and are mediated by the prefrontal cortex. Binyam is also working with Dr. Lisa Connor on the imaging and aphasia treatment study in the CRRG. For these studies, he performs MRI scans on the subjects and analyzes the data.
